Acupuncture/Acupressure and OMT A Handy Combination

Good Afternoon,

Thank you to those who signed up for Thursday’s CME event at NYITCOM “Acupuncture/Acupressure and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) a Handy Combination.”  We look forward to seeing you at 5pm in the OMM lab.

In light of COVID we have the following policies and procedures in place:

VERY IMPORTANT* : If you are not a current student or faculty member- be on the lookout for the email from me with the Invited Campus Guest COVID Attestation Link.  On Thursday before your arrival to campus you will need to login, fill out the 2-minute questionnaire about symptoms and you must press ok twice at the end to get the green go-light screen WITH THAT DAY’S DATE.  YOU SHOULD SCREENSHOT IT to show security upon your arrival on campus - alternatively you can retrieve the confirmation from your email.  You will not be allowed entry without it.

You should proceed to park in the Riland Parking lot. The OMM lab is in the Serota Building.  One question asks if you have had any exposure to people with COVID, people with business at the college of osteopathic medicine are instructed to mark NO. If you are a student or faculty member, please complete attestation as you would to come to campus. We of course follow hygiene protocols for handwashing, sanitizing, and masks.  In order to minimize any potential exposures-we require wearing of masks indoors on campus.

We will have light refreshments available during the session.  Please remember to complete and return the attestation form and evaluation provided to you in order to receive CME.

Please reach out if you have any further questions (OMC@nyit.edu).
