Visualization Center

The Visualization Center, located on the Old Westbury Campus of New York Institute of Technology (NYIT), is home to a μCT scanner, a non-contact 3D optical profiler, and five high-powered workstations. All equipment is free and available for use by internal and external users.

MicroCT

The Bruker SkyScan 1173 is a high-energy desktop microCT scanner. To schedule time, please see Scanning and Scheduling.

Workstations

Five high-powered workstations, optimized for image processing and visualization, are available in the Visualization Center. To schedule time, please see Scheduling.

Optical Profiler

The Sensofar S Neox is a non-contact 3D optical profiler that combines confocal, interferometry, and focus variation into one high-performing sensorhead with no moving parts. To schedule time, please see Scanning and Scheduling.
